THRESHOLD LOG 06-C2

Designation: Elevator Cab E-6

Apparent timestamp: 11:03 / 19:47 / --:--

Entry method: Call button on unmarked hallway panel

Environmental Baseline

LED strip lighting, 5000K, output steady at 220 lux.

Ambient temperature 23.1°C. Humidity 29%.

No measurable air movement. Cabin pressure 1.4% above external baseline.

Background sound is a continuous low vibration at 31 Hz. Vibration amplitude remains constant during movement.

Spatial Observations

Interior cab measures 1.6 m by 1.9 m by 2.4 m. Measured floor area after three complete cycles: 2.1 m by 1.4 m.

Floor: brushed stainless steel, no scuffs. Surface temperature 2.3°C below air temperature.

Walls: same stainless, mirror finish. Reflections show correct spatial layout but delayed by 0.8 seconds.

Ceiling: single fluorescent panel, non-functional. Light originates from the wall strips.

Control panel contains 14 unlabeled buttons. All buttons depress with identical resistance. No floor indicators illuminate.

Anomalies

Cab ascends or descends without corresponding cable movement or motor noise.

Button presses produce no change in acceleration for the first 17 seconds. After delay the cab moves at constant 0.6 m/s.

After 4 minutes of travel the doors open onto the same hallway from which entry occurred.

Exterior hallway lighting now measures 3800K instead of original 4100K.

Wristwatch advances 9 minutes during a measured 3-minute interval inside the cab.

Distance between opposing walls contracts by 11 cm when measured while the cab is in motion. Distance returns to baseline when stationary.

Entity Notes

None recorded.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit not achieved.

Explorer remains inside the circulating cab.

Recording device reports continuous motion for 47 minutes with no change in external position. Battery drain is 2.4× expected rate.

No residual effects noted on personal equipment after temporary door openings.
