THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 26-W23

Apparent Date/Time: 29 August 2026 / 04:17 (local) — secondary stamp reads 22:48 11 November 1978

Entry Method: Roll-up door labeled “S-23 SORTATION”. Door opens upward. Threshold height measures 0.0 m on entry and 0.08 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: overhead high-bay LEDs, color temperature measured at 5000 K. Intensity constant at 210 lux.

Ambient temperature: 18.7 °C. Humidity: 62 %.

Background sound: continuous belt motor hum at 62 Hz. Amplitude 34 dB.

Air movement: horizontal draft of 0.6 m/s from west vents. Barometric pressure 1013.4 hPa on entry; 1009.1 hPa after 15 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Hall estimated 42 m long by 14 m wide by 6.8 m high. Laser measurement returns 27 m long by 19.3 m wide by 5.9 m high.

Floor: polished concrete with embedded roller tracks. Track temperature 1.4 °C above ambient.

Walls: corrugated metal panels. Panel temperature matches ambient.

Ceiling: exposed trusses and conveyor support beams. Beam inventory returns 14 discrete spans. Visual count remains fixed at 14 after five passes.

Repeating motif: every 4.2 m a package scanner array is mounted at 1.1 m height. Scanner faces measure 0.35 m square. Status lights are identical across all units.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of active conveyor belts returns 7. Physical inventory returns 7. Belt width measures 0.9 m while package clearance measures 1.1 m.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured package travel direction on the central belt reverses after 4 minutes of continuous observation without change in motor polarity.

Belt velocity at primary section measures 0.0 m/s while motor current is fully engaged. Motor housing temperature measures 41.6 °C regardless of ambient.

Sound of package impact arrives 1.8 seconds before corresponding vibration is detected at the floor. Delay increases by 0.3 s for every additional 4 m of distance from the east wall.

Humidity at mid-hall remains 62 % while frost forms on the scanner faces after 7 minutes of observation. Frost sublimates without measurable change in local humidity.

Entity Notes

None observed.

At the 11 m mark a localized humidity spike of 18 % occurs across a 1.7 m radius. Spike persists for 9 seconds then collapses. No visible source or airflow change accompanies the event.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved by retracing path to the roll-up door. Door released with moderate resistance.

Exterior time on exit: 05:02 local. Elapsed interior time: 45 minutes. Wristwatch confirms same interval.

Residual effects: residual motor hum audible for 11 minutes after exit. Temporary inability to resolve scanner status lights beyond 2.1 m lasting 8 minutes. No other reported sequelae.
