THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 29-Z26

Apparent Date/Time: 01 September 2026 / 08:14 (local) — secondary stamp reads 22:07 03 November 1984

Entry Method: Double airlock marked “I-9 ISOLATION CHAMBER – POSITIVE PRESSURE”. Outer door clearance measures 0.88 m. Inner door clearance measures 0.91 m on entry and 0.79 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: recessed fluorescent tubes, color temperature measured at 3850 K. Intensity constant at 94 lux.

Ambient temperature: 16.4 °C. Humidity: 31 %.

Background sound: absence of compressor or fan noise. Baseline reading 19 dB.

Air movement: stagnant. Barometric pressure 1018.4 hPa on entry; 1009.2 hPa after 8 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Chamber estimated 14 m long by 6.2 m wide by 3.1 m high. Laser measurement returns 9.7 m long by 8.4 m wide by 2.6 m high.

Floor: continuous vinyl sheet with welded seams. Seam pattern remains fixed after five traversals.

Walls: smooth white composite panels. Panel joints measure 0.4 mm. Joint width remains constant under repeated measurement.

Ceiling: flush panels with four circular vents. Vent diameter measures 0.22 m. Visual inventory returns four vents. Physical count remains four after six passes.

Repeating motif: every 1.8 m a pressure differential gauge is mounted at 1.35 m height. Gauge faces measure 0.12 m diameter. Needle position is identical across all units.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of active seals returns 6. Physical inventory returns 6. Seal compression measures 4.2 mm while differential pressure across the same seal calculates to 0 hPa.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured condensation film on the lower wall panels slopes 2.1° toward the north wall. Slope reverses after 6 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Chamber pressure measures 1018 hPa while the external airlock indicator reads 1002 hPa. Seal integrity lights remain green.

Sound of footfall arrives 2.3 seconds after the corresponding floor vibration is detected. Delay increases by 0.31 s for every additional 1.9 m of distance from the entry airlock.

Humidity at mid-chamber remains 31 % while frost forms on the gauge faces after 4 minutes of observation. Frost sublimes without measurable change in local humidity.

Local magnetic field strength measures 0.4 gauss at floor level and 1.7 gauss at 1.4 m height. Field direction reverses after 11 minutes without change in chamber state.

Entity Notes

None observed.

At the 5.5 m mark a localized temperature drop of 4.1 °C occurs across a 1.6 m radius. Drop persists for 9 seconds then collapses. No visible source or airflow change accompanies the event.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved by retracing path through the double airlock. Outer door released with moderate resistance.

Exterior time on exit: 08:51 local. Elapsed interior time: 37 minutes. Wristwatch confirms same interval.

Residual effects: residual silence persists for 12 minutes after exit. Temporary inability to resolve gauge needle positions under normal lighting for 14 minutes.
