THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 45-P42

Apparent Date/Time: 20 September 2026 / 09:12 (local) — secondary stamp reads 03:47 22 November 1964

Entry Method: Double steel doors marked “F-42 FLOCCULATION BASIN GALLERY – AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY”. Exterior clear aperture measures 2.41 m × 2.33 m. Interior aperture measures 2.17 m × 2.51 m on entry and 2.38 m × 2.29 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tubes, color temperature measured at 4120 K. Intensity constant at 47 lux.

Ambient temperature: 16.4 °C. Humidity: 61 %.

Background sound: continuous low-frequency paddle drive resonance at 28 Hz. Baseline reading 24 dB.

Air movement: none detected. Barometric pressure 1012.8 hPa on entry; 1007.3 hPa after 4.2 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Gallery estimated 61 m long by 7.2 m wide by 4.1 m high. Laser measurement returns 39.7 m long by 6.8 m wide by 3.7 m high.

Floor: sealed concrete with gray chemical-resistant coating. Coating thickness measures 2.1 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Walls: painted concrete block with six vertical flocculation basin arrays. Paint thickness measures 1.1 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Ceiling: exposed structural beams with nine recessed lamp fixtures. Fixture count remains nine after twelve visual inventories.

Repeating motif: every 7.4 m a flocculation basin is mounted against the north wall. Basin height measures 3.05 m. Paddle assemblies are identical across all basins.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of flocculation basins returns 6. Physical inventory returns 6. Measured floc volume equals 0.0 m³ while calculated suspended solids mass across the same basins equals 18.4 kg.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured residual film on the lower wall panels slopes 2.1° toward the east wall. Slope reverses after 4 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Gallery pressure measures 1009 hPa while the external door indicator reads 1014 hPa. Seal integrity lights remain green.

Sound of residual paddle cycle arrives 3.1 seconds after the corresponding surface disturbance is detected. Delay increases by 0.31 s for every additional 1.6 m of distance from the entry door.

Humidity at mid-gallery remains 61 % while residual film forms on the basin housings after 5 minutes of observation. Film disperses without measurable change in local humidity.

Local magnetic field strength measures 0.4 gauss at floor level and 2.2 gauss at 1.7 m height. Field direction reverses after 7 minutes without change in gallery state.

Turbidity gauge needle count on the status array decreases by 9 over 11 minutes while measured feed flow at all transducers remains 0.0 L/min.

Surface of residual film on basin housings exhibits electrostatic cling of 4.2 cm against vertical surfaces. Cling collapses after 41 seconds without measurable change in surface charge.

Entity Notes

No entities observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through the same doors after 52 minutes of continuous observation. Exterior aperture measurements on exit match entry values.

Residual film on clothing disperses within 85 seconds of exit.

Secondary time stamp on exterior wall reads 03:47 22 November 1964. Primary local time advances normally. No residual pressure differential detected after exit.
