THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 49-T46

Apparent Date/Time: 24 September 2026 / 09:04 (local) — secondary stamp reads 03:17 11 November 1982

Entry Method: Single steel door marked “P-36 PARKING DECK RAMP – AUTHORIZED VEHICLES ONLY”. Exterior clear aperture measures 2.11 m × 2.38 m. Interior aperture measures 2.26 m × 2.21 m on entry and 1.93 m × 2.49 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: sodium-vapor fixtures, color temperature measured at 2140 K. Intensity constant at 38 lux.

Ambient temperature: 12.4 °C. Humidity: 41 %.

Background sound: continuous low-frequency deck resonance at 19 Hz. Baseline reading 18 dB.

Air movement: none detected. Barometric pressure 1014.2 hPa on entry; 1009.6 hPa after 4.1 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Ramp estimated 74 m long by 6.8 m wide by 3.1 m high. Laser measurement returns 51.7 m long by 6.2 m wide by 2.7 m high.

Floor: cast concrete with yellow lane striping. Stripe width measures 102 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Walls: poured concrete with six painted stall numbers. Paint thickness measures 0.8 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Ceiling: exposed soffit with twelve recessed lamp fixtures. Fixture count remains twelve after sixteen visual inventories.

Repeating motif: every 9.1 m a concrete expansion joint crosses the travel lane. Joint width measures 18 mm. Joint fill is identical across all crossings.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of stall numbers returns 6. Physical inventory returns 6. Measured vehicle occupancy equals 0 while calculated residual occupancy across the same stalls equals 4.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured residual film on the lower wall panels slopes 2.3° toward the downhill wall. Slope reverses after 3 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Ramp grade measures 0.0 % while the posted grade plaque reads 6.5 %. Seal integrity lights on the fire door remain green.

Sound of residual tire passage arrives 3.1 seconds after the corresponding surface disturbance is detected. Delay increases by 0.31 s for every additional 1.6 m of distance from the entry door.

Humidity at mid-ramp remains 41 % while residual film forms on the stripe edges after 7 minutes of observation. Film disperses without measurable change in local humidity.

Local magnetic field strength measures 0.4 gauss at floor level and 2.1 gauss at 1.5 m height. Field direction reverses after 5 minutes without change in ramp state.

Occupancy gauge needle count on the status array decreases by 9 over 8 minutes while measured loop-detector current at all transducers remains 0.0 A.

Surface of residual film on stripe edges exhibits electrostatic cling of 4.1 cm against vertical surfaces. Cling collapses after 41 seconds without measurable change in surface charge.

Yellow stripe centerline migrates 14 mm toward the west curb over 6 minutes. Stripe returns to original alignment without measurable change in floor temperature.

Entity Notes

None observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through the same steel door after 44 minutes of observation. Exterior aperture on exit measures 1.93 m × 2.49 m. Residual film on boots dissipates within 8 minutes of exit. Local magnetic field returns to baseline 0.4 gauss within 13 minutes. No further residual effects recorded.
