THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 52-W49

Apparent Date/Time: 27 September 2026 / 08:41 (local) — secondary stamp reads 22:17 04 March 1974

Entry Method: Single steel door marked “L-19 LOCKER ANNEX – STAFF ONLY”. Exterior clear aperture measures 0.91 m × 2.06 m. Interior aperture measures 1.04 m × 1.94 m on entry and 0.79 m × 2.18 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tube fixtures, color temperature measured at 4120 K. Intensity constant at 61 lux.

Ambient temperature: 21.7 °C. Humidity: 68 %.

Background sound: continuous drip at 0.9 Hz. Baseline reading 16 dB.

Air movement: none detected. Barometric pressure 1012.1 hPa on entry; 1004.6 hPa after 2.9 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Annex estimated 28 m long by 6.4 m wide by 2.9 m high. Laser measurement returns 19.8 m long by 5.7 m wide by 3.4 m high.

Floor: ceramic tile with painted centerline. Line width measures 76 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Walls: painted cinder block with two banks of steel lockers. Paint thickness measures 0.4 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Ceiling: painted concrete with twelve fluorescent fixtures. Fixture count remains twelve after fourteen visual inventories.

Repeating motif: every 1.6 m a locker column occupies both walls. Column height measures 1830 mm. Door finish is identical across all units.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of locker doors returns 48. Physical inventory returns 48. Measured occupied-locker count equals 0 while calculated residual occupancy across the same bank equals 17.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured residual film on the lower wall panels slopes 1.8° toward the outbound wall. Slope reverses after 6 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Posted occupancy plaque reads 48 UNITS / 0 ASSIGNED. Measured combined latch current at all lockers equals 0.0 A. Seal integrity lights on the fire door remain green.

Sound of residual slam arrives 2.7 seconds after the corresponding surface disturbance is detected. Delay increases by 0.21 s for every additional 1.2 m of distance from the entry door.

Humidity at mid-annex remains 68 % while residual film forms on the centerline edges after 5 minutes of observation. Film disperses without measurable change in local humidity.

Local magnetic field strength measures 0.5 gauss at floor level and 2.4 gauss at 1.5 m height. Field direction reverses after 7 minutes without change in annex state.

Towel count on the open-bench rail decreases by 11 over 9 minutes while measured latch current at all lockers remains 0.0 A.

Surface of residual film on centerline edges exhibits electrostatic cling of 3.6 cm against vertical surfaces. Cling collapses after 38 seconds without measurable change in surface charge.

Centerline migrates 11 mm toward the inbound wall over 5 minutes. Line returns to original alignment without measurable change in floor temperature.

Locker-door depth measures 420 mm on first inventory and 361 mm on second inventory of the same door. Door returns to 420 mm on third inventory without change in hinge position.

Bench height measures 460 mm on first inventory and 418 mm on second inventory of the same bench. Bench returns to 460 mm on third inventory without change in floor tile alignment.

Recorded drip interval equals 1.11 s on the first 36 cycles and 0.84 s on the subsequent 36 cycles. Interval returns to 1.11 s without change in fixture state.

Entity Notes

None observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through the same steel door after 41 minutes of observation. Exterior aperture on exit measures 0.79 m × 2.18 m. Residual film on boots dissipates within 12 minutes of exit. Local magnetic field returns to baseline 0.5 gauss within 14 minutes. No further residual effects recorded.
