THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 22-S19

Apparent Date/Time: 25 August 2026 / 08:17 (local) — secondary stamp reads 14:02 09 November 1977

Entry Method: Double steel doors marked “B-9 BATTERY ROOM”. Doors swing outward. Hydraulic closer engages. Exterior push bars present.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: bank of LED panels, color temperature measured at 5000 K. Intensity constant at 210 lux.

Ambient temperature: 22.1 °C. Humidity: 41 %.

Background sound: intermittent click at 0.8 Hz. Amplitude 18 dB.

Air movement: none detectable. Barometric pressure 1013.4 hPa on entry; 1009.8 hPa after 4 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Room estimated 12 m long by 8 m wide. Laser measurement returns 15 m by 5.5 m.

Floor: epoxy-coated concrete. Surface temperature 1.7 °C above ambient.

Walls: painted concrete block. Original color obscured by battery racks. Wall temperature matches ambient.

Ceiling height: 2.9 m. Battery racks run parallel to long axis at 1.1 m intervals. Rack count remains fixed at six after repeated inventory.

Repeating motif: every 2.4 m a busbar junction is present. Junctions measure 0.3 m by 0.3 m by 0.15 m. Cover plates display identical rivet patterns.

Anomalies

Visual count of battery cells returns 48. Physical inventory returns 48. Individual cell voltages measured at 2.14 V while string total measures 96.3 V.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured slope along long axis is 2.1° toward the far wall. Slope reverses after 5 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Electrolyte levels in open cells display heights that rearrange between observations. Readings cycle through three fixed values at 19-second intervals. Cell temperature measures 28.6 °C regardless of ambient.

Sound of electrolyte movement arrives 1.7 seconds after corresponding level change is detected. Delay increases by 0.3 s for every additional 2 m of distance from entry point.

Humidity at floor level remains 41 % while condensation forms on positive terminals after 4 minutes of contact. Condensation evaporates without measurable change in local humidity.

Entity Notes

None observed.

At the 7 m mark a localized voltage spike of 0.6 V occurs across a 1.4 m radius. Spike persists for 8 seconds then collapses. No visible source or arc accompanies the change.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved by retracing path to the double steel doors. Closers released with moderate resistance.

Exterior time on exit: 08:52 local. Elapsed interior time: 35 minutes. Wristwatch confirms same interval.

Residual effects: residual intermittent click audible for 11 minutes after exit. Temporary inability to resolve terminal labels beyond 1.5 m lasting 9 minutes. No other reported sequelae.
