THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 33-D30

Apparent Date/Time: 05 September 2026 / 08:41 (local) — secondary stamp reads 02:17 22 November 1983

Entry Method: Double steel doors marked “P-21 PNEUMATIC MANIFOLD – AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY”. Exterior width measures 1.82 m. Interior width measures 1.69 m on entry and 1.94 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tubes, color temperature measured at 4200 K. Intensity constant at 94 lux.

Ambient temperature: 21.4 °C. Humidity: 41 %.

Background sound: continuous compressor resonance at 61 Hz. Baseline reading 34 dB.

Air movement: none detected. Barometric pressure 1012.7 hPa on entry; 1008.1 hPa after 9 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Gallery estimated 22 m long by 5.1 m wide by 3.6 m high. Laser measurement returns 16.4 m long by 6.3 m wide by 2.7 m high.

Floor: sealed concrete with yellow directional striping. Stripe width measures 0.11 m. Pattern remains fixed after five traversals.

Walls: painted concrete over exposed manifold runs. Paint thickness measures 0.4 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Ceiling: exposed structural steel with four recessed light fixtures. Fixture count remains four after six visual inventories.

Repeating motif: every 3.1 m a pressure gauge cluster is mounted at 1.4 m height. Gauge face diameter measures 0.18 m. Needle positions are identical across all clusters.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of supply regulators returns 7. Physical inventory returns 7. Measured line pressure equals 0.0 bar while calculated system demand across the same regulators equals 6.8 bar.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured oil film on the lower wall panels slopes 2.1° toward the north wall. Slope reverses after 4 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Gallery pressure measures 1012 hPa while the external door indicator reads 1016 hPa. Seal integrity lights remain green.

Sound of exhaust venting arrives 2.3 seconds after the corresponding surface disturbance is detected. Delay increases by 0.31 s for every additional 1.8 m of distance from the entry door.

Humidity at mid-gallery remains 41 % while condensation forms on the manifold exteriors after 8 minutes of observation. Condensation evaporates without measurable change in local humidity.

Local magnetic field strength measures 0.4 gauss at floor level and 1.9 gauss at 1.5 m height. Field direction reverses after 13 minutes without change in gallery state.

Pressure reading on the gauge clusters decreases by 0.7 bar over 11 minutes while measured flow at all regulators remains 0 L/min.

Entity Notes

None observed.

At the 8.2 m mark a localized temperature drop of 4.1 °C occurs across a 1.6 m radius. Drop persists for 9 seconds then collapses. No visible source or airflow change accompanies the event.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved by retracing path through the steel doors. Exterior width on exit measures 1.82 m. Residual effect: mild pressure equalization in the inner ear lasting 27 minutes. No further residual effects noted after 40 minutes of observation outside the threshold.
