THRESHOLD COMPLEX EXPLORATION LOG

Designation / Log ID: 35-F32

Apparent Date/Time: 08 September 2026 / 08:47 (local) — secondary stamp reads 03:19 22 November 1984

Entry Method: Single steel door marked “H-22 HYDRAULIC ACCUMULATOR – AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY”. Exterior door clear aperture measures 0.92 m × 2.05 m. Interior aperture measures 1.11 m × 1.88 m on entry and 0.79 m × 2.21 m on exit.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tubes, color temperature measured at 4100 K. Intensity constant at 74 lux.

Ambient temperature: 21.3 °C. Humidity: 41 %.

Background sound: continuous low-frequency hydraulic pump hum at 52 Hz. Baseline reading 31 dB.

Air movement: none detected. Barometric pressure 1012.8 hPa on entry; 1008.1 hPa after 6 m of travel.

Spatial Observations

Gallery estimated 22 m long by 5.1 m wide by 3.4 m high. Laser measurement returns 15.7 m long by 6.3 m wide by 2.7 m high.

Floor: sealed concrete with yellow safety striping. Striping width measures 0.10 m. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Walls: painted steel paneling with embedded pressure manifolds. Paint thickness measures 0.7 mm. Surface remains uniform under repeated contact.

Ceiling: exposed structural beams with four recessed lamp fixtures. Fixture count remains four after six visual inventories.

Repeating motif: every 3.1 m a hydraulic accumulator vessel is mounted at 1.4 m height. Vessel diameter measures 0.48 m. Pressure gauge readings are identical across all vessels.

Anomalies

Visual inventory of accumulator vessels returns 7. Physical inventory returns 7. Measured system pressure equals 0.0 bar while calculated residual pressure across the same vessels equals 18.4 bar.

Floor remains level under spirit level. Measured fluid film on the lower wall panels slopes 2.1° toward the west wall. Slope reverses after 4 minutes of continuous observation without change in physical orientation.

Gallery pressure measures 1012 hPa while the external door indicator reads 1016 hPa. Seal integrity lights remain green.

Sound of residual pump cycle arrives 2.3 seconds after the corresponding surface disturbance is detected. Delay increases by 0.31 s for every additional 1.6 m of distance from the entry door.

Humidity at mid-gallery remains 41 % while condensation forms on the vessel exteriors after 5 minutes of observation. Condensation evaporates without measurable change in local humidity.

Local magnetic field strength measures 0.4 gauss at floor level and 2.1 gauss at 1.5 m height. Field direction reverses after 9 minutes without change in gallery state.

Fluid level reading on the sight glass array decreases by 0.6 L over 8 minutes while measured flow at all isolation valves remains 0 L/min.

Entity Notes

None observed.

At the 7.2 m mark a localized temperature drop of 4.1 °C occurs across a 1.5 m radius. Drop persists for 6 seconds then collapses. No visible source.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through the same steel door after 19 minutes of continuous observation. Exterior aperture on exit matches the interior measurement recorded on entry.

Residual effect: left boot sole retains a thin film of hydraulic fluid that evaporates over 11 minutes without measurable mass change. Right boot sole remains dry.

Secondary timestamp on the log device advances 47 minutes while local elapsed time measures 19 minutes.
