Log 72-Q69

Designation: Archive Chamber X-27

Apparent date/time: 2026-10-21 13:45 / 2026-10-20 19:13

Entry method: Access door from corridor labeled 'Records'. Door latch unlocked with standard force.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tubes. Color temperature 3500 K by meter, 4700 K visually. Flicker interval 1.0 s.

Ambient temperature: 20.1 °C at entry, 23.6 °C mid-chamber.

Background sound: low-frequency hum. Frequency 47 Hz. Arrives 1.5 s after initial meter reading.

Air movement: none detected. Pressure holds steady at 1013 hPa.

Spatial Observations

Chamber rectangular, estimated length 62 m by laser measure. Measured length varies from 48 m on entry to 75 m on exit. Width remains consistent at 3.9 m throughout. Height starts 3.4 m and increases slightly to 3.7 m in center before decreasing back to 3.4 m at exit. Floor concrete with scattered small puddles. Walls painted cinder block, paint flaking irregularly every 18 m. Ceiling carries recessed LED panels; lights remain off.

Anomalies

Documents self-replicate inside file cabinets: one cabinet starts empty, fills with identical papers in a minute despite closed doors. Explorer's reflection fixed at original position after moving 20 m forward, reappearing accurately at exit point without intermediate travel. Acoustic delay increases linearly from entry to exit: initial impact sound arrives 1.7 s late; final measurement shows 3.4 s lag.

Entity Notes

None observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through original access door. Latch engaged automatically on exploration conclusion. Residual effect: one additional cabinet file count increases by 50 papers after exit, no apparent cause for increase. Continuity intact.
