Log 73-R70

Designation: Artifact Storage Gallery X-12

Apparent date/time: 2026-10-22 15:37 / 2026-10-21 20:48

Entry method: Access door from corridor labeled 'Treasures'. Door latch unlocked with moderate force.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tubes. Color temperature 3900 K by meter, 5100 K visually. Flicker interval 1.2 s.

Ambient temperature: 17.4 °C at entry, 22.8 °C mid-gallery.

Background sound: low-frequency hum. Frequency 50 Hz. Arrives 2.0 s after initial meter reading.

Air movement: none detected. Pressure holds steady at 1013 hPa.

Spatial Observations

Gallery rectangular, estimated length 96 m by laser measure. Measured length varies from 74 m on entry to 108 m on exit. Width consistent at 3.8 m throughout. Height starts 3.5 m and increases gradually to 4.2 m mid-gallery then decreases back to 3.5 m on exit. Floor concrete with scattered small puddles and occasional artifacts. Walls painted cinder block, paint flaking irregularly every 19 m. Ceiling carries recessed LED panels; lights remain off.

Anomalies

Sound of footsteps arrives 2.3 s after initial impact observed. Display cases start empty but fill with identical ancient coins in a minute despite closed glass doors. Explorer's reflection fixed at original position after moving 30 m forward, reappearing accurately at exit point without intermediate travel.

Entity Notes

None observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through original access door. Latch engaged automatically on exploration conclusion. Residual effect: additional display cases counted as increasing by 15 sets of coins after exit, no apparent cause for increase. Continuity intact.
