Log 75-T72

Designation: Statue Chamber X-15

Apparent date/time: 2026-10-24 11:43 / 2026-10-23 18:37

Entry method: Access door from corridor labeled 'Monuments'. Door latch unlocked with moderate force.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: fluorescent tubes. Color temperature 4200 K by meter, 5000 K visually. Flicker interval 1.4 s.

Ambient temperature: 18.9 °C at entry, 23.6 °C mid-chamber.

Background sound: low-frequency hum. Frequency 50 Hz. Arrives 1.7 s after initial meter reading.

Air movement: none detected. Pressure holds steady at 1013 hPa.

Spatial Observations

Chamber rectangular, estimated length 82 m by laser measure. Measured length varies from 64 m on entry to 95 m on exit. Width consistent at 3.7 m throughout. Height starts 3.4 m and increases gradually to 4.0 m mid-chamber then decreases back to 3.4 m on exit. Floor concrete with scattered small puddles. Walls painted cinder block, paint flaking irregularly every 18 m. Ceiling carries recessed LED panels; lights remain off.

Anomalies

Sound of footsteps arrives 1.6 s after initial impact observed. Empty pedestals start filling with identical self-replicating statues despite closed glass doors. Explorer's reflection fixed at original position after moving 30 m forward, reappearing accurately at exit point without intermediate travel.

Entity Notes

None observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through original access door. Latch engaged automatically on exploration conclusion. Residual effect: additional pedestals counted as increasing by 15 sets of statues after exit, no apparent cause for increase. Continuity intact.
