Log 77-V74

Designation: Instrument Display Chamber X-23

Apparent date/time: 2026-10-25 04:09 / 2026-10-25 18:17

Entry method: Access door from corridor labeled 'Displays'. Door unlocked manually with a keycard.

Environmental Baseline

Lighting: LED strip lights, color temperature 4300 K. Flicker interval 1.6 s visually.

Ambient temperature: 18.7 °C at entry, 23.5 °C near center of chamber.

Background sound: low-frequency hum, frequency 50 Hz. Sound lag time observed to be 1.9 seconds after initial meter reading.

Air movement: none detected.

Spatial Observations

Chamber appears rectangular, estimated length from entry point to opposite wall via laser measure is 84 m. Actual measured distance varies during exploration; first measurement at 75 m, second re-measurement yields 92 m. Width remains constant at 3.6 meters throughout the chamber. Height increases from 3.3 m near entry to 4.1 m mid-chamber then decreases gradually back to original height. Wall panels are painted metal with occasional digital displays embedded irregularly every 15 meters.

Anomalies

Acoustic delays observed for footstep sound, lagging by up to 2 seconds after impact on floor. Display screens self-modify and update content seemingly independently of any interaction or control input. Original visual feedback trails by approximately 3 seconds behind current physical location within the chamber. An initial echo from a display screen's audio output takes about 1.5 seconds to return.

Entity Notes

None observed.

Exit / Continuity Status

Exit achieved through original entry door, which relocked automatically upon exit attempt. Residual effect: final visual feedback lags by an additional 4 seconds beyond physical movement during departure sequence. Continuity intact.
